Located in the heart of Auckland’s CBD, BNZ’s head office in the Deloitte Centre is the third workplace to complete BNZ's strategic vision of a ‘national virtual campus' model.
Having worked closely with BNZ on the strategic vision for their workplaces, the Jasmax interior design team were involved from the outset of the site redevelopment project on 80 Queen Street.
This enabled them to work strategically with BNZ and the developer to influence the architecture, spatial elements and green initiatives of the building, ensuring BNZ's aspirations, business effectiveness and brand alignment were encapsulated in the building.
Spanning six podium floors and two tower floors, the design team were challenged to create a cohesive environment that unified staff and was intuitive to navigate. This was achieved through the use of a commanding stairway that delivers connectivity both visually and physically throughout the space.
The open office allows integration across all floors; social and collaborative spaces further foster the sense of community within this commercial environment.
The variety of colours, forms, materials and spaces responds to the site and the rich heritage and brand of BNZ, creating an environment that is contemporary and timeless.
BNZ are committed to sustainable business practices and this project exemplifies that, achieving a 5 Green Star Office Interiors rating.
